Children deserve to be adored and provided with the best care possible. I knew I wanted to be someone who would have the knowledge, skill set and competence to be able to provide quality care. So I enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program and in 2014 I graduated from Champlain College and received my attestation certificate in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in the childcare field for over 15 years now. I was an early childhood educator for 10 of those years. I have worked as a nursery room educator in a daycare and also as a head educator in a preschool for children aged 2 1/2 to 5 years old. I was a part time nanny to triplet boys while in school and was also a private nanny to a little girl for over a year and most recently to a little boy and girl for three years. Once I am committed, I am loyal to that commitment until I am not needed any longer. I am looking to work with a family that has the same values as me and are willing to work together as a team. I am currently looking for a nanny position, full-time, starting January 2026. I look forward to hearing from you. :) As an educator, I have worked/volunteered in the following age groups: 0 - 18 months old, 18 - 36 months old and the 4 - 5 years old group. As a nanny I worked with the following age groups; newborn - 12 years old.

After finishing my degree in Kingston, I moved to Ottawa and have been enjoying getting to know the city! I am looking for work in/around the centretown area. I grew up in a busy family playing sports, taking music lessons, reading lots of books, and enjoying thought-provoking conversations (definitely not arguments!) with my brothers and parents. I like to say I grew up babysitting because I have a younger brother, but my nannying experience really began when I was in high school. And from then on, I knew I wanted to work with kids in my future career. Families often find me to be a patient, kind, and very caring addition to their lives. I truly adore the children I work with, and enjoy getting to know them as an individual to understand their likes/dislikes, activities of interest, and strategies they respond best to. I am fascinated by communication, and love figuring out the puzzles presented by each child I work with, whether it's babbling, new words, baby sign, or anything in between! Children always have a unique way of communicating and it's one of the many reasons I love what I do. You can expect me to be playing your child's favourite tunes, setting up (and cleaning up!) lots of seasonal crafts, playing anytime, anywhere, and always trying my best to make today a great day for your kiddo! Recently, I have been working in the child services field, and have been gaining experience in children’s programming. This has enhanced my understanding of how to curate safe, enriching environments for children and my ability to integrate skill-enhancement into play and activities. Some of these experiences included daycare and Montessori supply teaching, tutoring for a schoolboard’s literacy camp, EarlyON program facilitation, and program coordination at a non-profit. Families have found me to be a patient and empathetic addition to their lives, always willing to offer support where I can. I enjoy getting to know each child I work with as an individual to understand their likes, dislikes, activities of interest, and strategies they respond to best. I approach each day with patience, creativity, and genuine curiosity for child development, allowing me to build trusting relationships with children and respond attentively to their mood, energy, and interests. My goal is always to foster confidence, independence, and joy – creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world. During a care session, you can expect me to be singing all your child's favourite songs, setting up – and cleaning up – lots of seasonal crafts, playing anytime, anywhere, and always giving my full effort to make today a great day for your child! I am looking for a part time or full time contract starting at the end of May 2026 in the Beacon Hill/Gloucester or Orléans area. I can accommodate flexible schedules as well as long-term contracts. If you think I would be a good fit for your family’s needs, please reach out! Currently, I am enrolled in my Master’s degree studying counselling psychology. This program is online and asynchronous so it does not affect my availability.

My name is Diana! With years of childcare experience and raising my siblings, I'm ready to bring that energy and knowledge to your family! Growing up in a sports-filled household, I'm all about fun and activity. I have always had a passion for arts and crafts and love the outdoors! I'm a licensed driver with my own car, so errands and appointments are a breeze. As a weightlifting enthusiast, I'm also super knowledgeable about food and nutrition, ensuring your kids get the fuel they need to thrive! I am also CPR/First Aid certified and looking for a family I can love and support, like my own! If you're interested in learning more about how I can support your family's needs, please feel free to message me. I look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact in your children's lives! I have over six years of hands-on childcare experience, beginning with caring for my younger brother from an early age. This involved everything from meal preparation and homework help, to engaging play and bedtime routines. In addition to my family responsibilities, I’ve regularly cared for the children of family friends, including one child with autism, which has helped me develop patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of individual needs. Last summer I was also given the opportunity to nanny for a lovely 13 year old boy with developmental delays and epilepsy. This was an amazing experience for me as I got to actualize the importance of routine and develop a deeper understanding of the medical care for children. I have experience with children ranging in age from 1 to 13, and I always aim to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment that supports each child’s development! Most recently I nannied for a lovely family of 3 children aged 1, 3 and 5. If you have any questions about my experience or what I can provide for your family don’t hesitate to reach out!
