To whom it may concern,
Hi there. My name is Jara , and I am currently looking for full time work. I have a number of different experiences. To name a few, I used to be apart of; competitive swimming, a rugby team, social justice committee member, and I have great babysitting experience. I am very energetic and out going, and truly have a passion for children. I have recently taken Child and Youth Care at Algonquin College and I feel that the knowledge that I have gained will be very beneficial in this career field. I come from a very tight-knit military family who did everything in their power to ensure that their children know respect, compassion, and know how to complete every task giving it 110.
Also, the current resident that I have given is not the residence I will be permanently residing in. As of May 1st, 2016 I will be in downtown Ottawa.
I thank you in advance for considering me for this job opportunity, and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
I have a great variety of experience when it comes to child care. I have provided care for children who are only a couple of months old to pre-teenagers. I have cared for one child at a time to up to seven children, who were relatively close in age to each other, at the same time. I am skilled in entertaining children before bed, and putting them to sleep. I have also babysat for a couple of hours up to full days and evenings with the child(ren). I take child and youth care as a very serious task, and always put the families rules above my own, and ensure that the safety and the well being of the child are of top priority while in my care.
I have a babysitting course, first aid/CPR training that has expired, however I am planning on renewing them soon.
I have completed high school with areas of study being social studies, with a hint of health care as well. Though I was enrolled in Child and Youth Care at Algonquin College, I am currently taking time off for myself before continuing on to second year in a different field. Rest assured, though the Child and Youth Care program was not the career path for myself, that does not change the passion that I have for child care. Through the courses I had took in the child and Youth Care program, I have fresh knowledge and education in the subject of childcare.
