We are a busy family with 4 children, ages 8, 10, 12, and 13. We are looking for someone to come into our home 10-15 hours per week to help out with the children and household needs. We are very flexible, the purpose of hiring someone is to give me a chance to spend a little more time working. Although I checked off the Monday-Friday daytime, that is not a requirement! Students may apply as well, we can work around your schedule. In a perfect world, you would spend a couple mornings per week doing housework and a couple afternoons you would be able to pick the kids up from school, spend time with them, cook dinner for the kids, clean up after and then head home. Weekends optional. Opportunity for more hours. Priority 1: -Support and supervise children -Assist with homework -Plan recreational activities -Act as a positive role model and mentor -Encourage and promote independence and responsibility Priority 2: -Regular housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning -occasionally cook meals for the family -occasionally drive the children to and from school or sports (will compensate for mileage) -occasionally stay with the children for an extended period 1-2 times per year so we can take a vacation (will compensate fairly) Requirements: -Friendly and outgoing -Ability to engage and bond with children/teenagers -Patience, creativity, problem solving skills -Understanding of adolescent development and challenges -Trustworthy and reliable -Positive attitude over experience! We would love someone who is a resident of KW area, and bonus if you could stay on come September. Some of the qualities our current nanny & sitter possess that we love are: Extremely engaged with our girls- in a fun, upbeat, loving way Enjoyed taking to girls to the library, play groups, parks, walks, etc. Independently planned activities with the girls (playdoh, outdoor activities, etc., ) without having to be guided all the time Took the initiative to help with everyday tasks within the home without having to be asked (empty dishwasher, clean kitchen if she arrived after mealtime, Swiffer floors, etc., ). Extremely reliable & trustworthy- rarely called in sick and always kept us updated with her schedule & when she required days off If this sounds like you, we would love to have a chat! Our girls are AWESOME (and adorable!), and if we sound like the right fit, no doubt you will fall in love with them as everyone who meets them does. They are a perfect sibling combo of sweet & sassy, and they are very happy well adjusted little ones! If you've made it this far, wage is negotiable and there are no other household duties required other then caring for our girls and cleaning up after them when you are here! We have three wonderful boys, all under 5, the two older ones will be attending school in sept and are picked up by bus out front at 8:45 so mainly the care is for our youngest from the hours of 6am to 3 pm, both my wife and I start at 6:30 so we need an early riser :). We have two larger dogs, whom need no attention other than being let out occasionally, but are not crazy. Our female like to bark at horses passing the house but it's all just excitement and is playful when outside. We provide a menu for the day of which we have mostly prepped but some foods may require prep or reheating. The only tasks we would ask is to put dirty dishes in the dish washer, and put toys or crafts after completed or done with, and ask them for help too :). All of are children are potty trained with our youngest still using a mobile potty. Due to budget constraints we are willing to offer $500 for M-F at the hours listed above
