I’m looking for a nanny/babysitter to provide childcare for a couple of hours in the afternoon twice a week. Days and exact times are flexible. My children are one and a half and three. They love to play, do arts and crafts, read, and bake. Someone caring for them should be happy to engage with them in these activities or other types of play. We also have a large backyard for outdoor playing and activities when the weather is nice. Aside from providing dedicated playtime and attentively caring for them, other expectations would include helping them tidy up from their play, serving them snacks, and clean up from snack time. I would still be home, catching up on tasks like laundry and such. Ideally a candidate would be comfortable around infants as we are expecting a third child in late fall. Care would not extend to the upcoming baby until they are older - newborn care is not involved. Someone with interest in a longer term nanny position would be desirable so my kids can develop comfort with a consistent individual.

We’re in a bit of a unique situation where two families currently share a nanny, and we’re hoping to continue a similar arrangement with the right person. Our families both live in Chilliwack and have children attending the same school, which makes after-school pickup fairly straightforward. Our Families: Family – Fairfield Island Amanda & Sam 4 children: ages 4, 8, 12, and 14 O’Mahony Family – Garrison Area Shandalin & Duncan 2 children: ages 7 and 9 The position would involve after-school pickup at 2:30 PM, driving the children home, and staying with them until approximately 6:00 PM. Additional hours per day if you would like to come to the home earlier in the day to do light housekeeping/prep meals for the children, etc. Occasional overnights as needed if comfortable. The schedule would be shared between the two families (3 days/2 days). Because driving the kids is part of the role, a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required. We would also cover your mileage, of course. We’re looking for someone responsible, kind, and comfortable managing multiple kids in a busy after-school environment.

My name is Haylee. I am an RN and my work hours are 8-4pm Mon Tues & Wed, alternating with Mon Tues the following week. I will need help starting in December but potentially sooner for some assistance with babysitting I am looking for someone that is able to come over to our house (Little Mountain area) 0730-830am to assist getting the kids off to school. It requires driving my one child to middle school for drop off at 0830. And then pick my eldest child up at 230 and bring home. I will be home from work just after 4pm. My 2 children are 9 and 12, along with 2 friendly dogs. My 12 year old has special needs and requires cueing and some assistance getting ready for school in the mornings. My 9 year old is pretty independent, but still needs some help getting out the door. I am a Christian single mother with two neurodivergent children, and I am seeking an extra pair of hands to assist with their day-to-day lives along with some help around the house. I take up a full-time job at a local Christian private school and therefore require flexible support during the day. We live in a lovely house with an amazing backyard. The role demands light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation for the kids, driving the children around, doing their laundry, and keeping the kitchen tidy. We also have a delightful Golden doodle who needs some care, including walks. The kids are aged between 6-9 years and the role will require a commitment of 20-30 hours a week. On weekdays, your assistance would be generally needed in the mornings and evenings. However, on Sundays and Saturdays, throughout the day including the evening and night would be optimal. Weekend hours and overnights would be negotiable depending upon necessity. There would be ample time between 8-4 to pursue your own interests, work or even take some classes. As this role does involve driving children around, a driver's license and the use of your own car is essential. Although this is a part-time role, live-in is an option and can be discussed if you are interested.
