My husband and I are in need of a trusted individual for a full-time nanny position in Carstairs, AB. We have three lovely children aged 9, 6, and 3 who require care for 40 hours each week, as my work involves me building my own company. The ideal candidate should be reliable, and hopefully someone we can have as part of our household for the next five years. The tenure of this position is live-out, following a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, with generally 9am - 5pm work hours. Our ideal nanny should be equipped with a driver's license for running errands, and transporting the children as required. A family vehicle will be provided for those job-related trips. Apart from focusing on child care, we also require light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our family. These duties include cooking, doing the children’s laundry, preparing meals for the kids, being comfortable around family pets and possibly an occasional need to do family laundry. Adhering to special dietary rules is also crucial, as would be keeping the kitchen tidy after meal preparations. Given the nature of this role, it is pivotal that we work with someone who is good with children between the ages of 3-9 years. I am looking for permanent nanny/child care for 3 Children ages 14, 12, and 7. We live between Olds, and Didsbury. Approx 15 days a month, including overnight care. Prefer live out, will consider live in. Shifts will run from 1-6 days at a time. This will include some weekends and stat holidays. Looking for someone reliable, experienced, and a good fit for our family. Due to scheduling of my career, candidate must have a flexible schedule, including stat holidays and weekends however this position comes with chunks of multiple days off in a row. Candidate must provide criminal record check and have their own vehicle. Must be comfortable with animals and acreage chores feeding horses/dogs/cats/chickens. Previous childcare experience with references, and experience with special needs children (autism spectrum disorder) an asset. Months I have vacation and need less childcare, I would like those shifts filled with house/acreage pet setting. Candidate would help with housework while children are in school or we are on vacation. Taking children too and from activities. Occasionally picking my husband up from the airport when he flys in, when I’m at work. I have a spare bedroom for the child care provider to stay when providing overnight care. I have some flexibility in my schedule, and know by the 25th the month prior what days I need care for. I am also flexible with important days off, and can submit them through my employer by the 12th the month prior. All 3 children are in school full time. I would like to negotiate a monthly salary.

My son is 4 years old. He is autistic and non verbal. I’m looking for someone who can pick him up at school at 1130 am and stay at our home with him until 4 pm, with full days on Friday in our home. He is not toilet trained, so someone willing to change him and help him learn through play.
