We need a part-time live-out nanny/mother’s helper Monday-Friday for about 20 hours/week. We need someone that can be at our house at 7 am three times a week to drive children to school (College Sainte Anne de Lachine) that is 45 min from our house and to pick up them at school everyday. The time you spend driving the children will count as a working hour and we will pay for the gas. Help with homework for our 9 yo daughter. The support we need is a mix of childcare, household maintenance, cleaning, groceries/meal prep and errands. The girls are in elementary school full-time (8:00 am-3:30pm). We need someone to focus on household maintenance, including tidying, doing laundry (wash, fold, put away), refilling supplies (e.g. hand soap dispensers, paper towel holders, etc.), watering plants, emptying garbages, sorting recycling, replacing bathroom hand towels, etc. Over time rotate between deep cleaning things like the inside of the fridge, blinds, window screens, etc. In addition, we will need to prepare meal prep dinner about 3 x/week. We may also need help with other odd jobs such as the organization of items in drawers, downsizing items in closets and running errands (e.g. dropping off dry cleaning). Start date: September 5th (negotiable). I week experience in July. During summer time we could be more flexible with the hours. 22 dollars per hour 20 hours per week Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Our ideal candidate would include the following: Fun/playful, warm and loving, but with consistent boundaries, positive discipline and a “coaching” approach to helping the kids develop strong social and emotional skills. A knack for keeping a house organized and creating “systems” which ensure things run smoothly (e.g. organizing the pantry or mud room). Certifications: Criminal record check, reference check. Having your own car and driver’s license are required. About us: We are Genil and Chris. Our Daughter is Yael and she is 2 years old. She is happy-go-lucky, well mannered, and easy going. Chris and I travel for work from time to time. We are looking for a reliable warm-hearted nanny who can ease our worries and help us care for our little one especially when one parent is away.
