On a personal front, I have relished the joy of raising three wonderful children, actively participating in their educational journey by homeschooling them for a significant period of 7 years. Over the last two decades, I have been working tirelessly alongside my husband on a host of marketing-related projects. This endeavor has been rewarding and enlightening, to say the least. Having been married for 43 years, his departure left a void in my life. Now, as a widow, I have found a significant amount of time at my disposal.
During these uncertain times, I realized my calling was to work with children or the elderly. Possessing a patient, compassionate, and kind demeanor, I also bring positivity and fun to any setting I'm part of. I value focusing on the individual in front of me, looking at their personal needs, and providing assistance accordingly.
One aspect that I'm deeply passionate about is creativity. Hence, teaching arts and crafts or showcasing the creative possibilities with applications like Canva would certainly bring immense joy to me. If the opportunity permits, I wouldn't mind devoting my time to reading to toddlers as well. Equipped with the experience of raising three children, I could help with early education skills, specifically for preschool to Grade 2 level children. This might include reading, writing, mathematics, cursive writing, among other basic skills.
As for the elderly, I believe I would significantly contribute as a companion, ensuring that they eat on time, enjoy their visit, participate in a craft activity, or simply have someone to talk to when they feel the need. One thing is certain, irrespective of the job profile - children or elderly, my inherent nature of being patient and kind would remain unwavering.
