I’m a second-year university student who hopes to become a teacher one day, especially in English and philosophy (and possibly biology!). I’ve always loved helping others learn and gain confidence in school, and tutoring is something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve spent over five years tutoring my cousin, who has a learning disability, mainly in English and math. Working with him taught me how important patience, encouragement, and flexibility are when it comes to learning. I’ve also done one-on-one tutoring for peers during Grades 11 and 12, helping classmates understand material, stay organized, and feel more confident before tests. I’m friendly, patient, and easy to talk to, and I always try to make learning feel less stressful and more enjoyable.
