I am a single middle age lady who loves animals...ALL animals although I am terrified of ones of the reptilian nature. I am not allowed pets in my building so pet minding would be a treat for me. I am available anytime. My current trade is a certified Care aid but I am not working as one right now so I have a lot of extra time. Have house sat and pet sat many times. I love animals so much. I'm comfortable in administering both oral and injected medication for dogs, providing daily exercise for high-energy dogs, taking care of senior or special needs dogs, and more basic tasks like teeth and fur brushing. Animal First Aid/CPR is also within my skill set. In my work, I prioritize making all animals, whether they are cats, dogs, fish, reptiles, or rodents, feel loved, cared for, and safe. I'm looking for roles that involve drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting. I'm excited to offer tasks that nourish and enrich the lives of your pets! I have recently moved to Canada and spent the winter skiing and working as a server in Fernie, and have loved it so much that I have decided to stay on for the duration of my 2-year visa. However, I have now officially moved to Vancouver and am on the job hunt again. Back in my home - Slovakia, where I´m from, I took care of many animals - 6 cats, dog, 2 cockatiels and gave everyone the attention they deserved. My whole life have been accompanied with animals. I used to volunteer in an animal shelter, where I walked dogs daily, cleaned their space, fed them and provided them with a basic training, taught them simple commands - sit, stay, lay down, walking on the leash without pulling and others.
