I'm Megan, a 36-year-old caucasian female, living in central Richmond. I grew up in North Delta and have always loved living here in BC. I pride myself on being a creative, empathetic, and compassionate person. To be fully transparent, and please don’t let it deter you, throughout my life I have struggled with some health problems, and working a typical job 9-5 job has not come easy. However, I thrive in roles that fill me with joy and enable me to invest thoroughly, particularly ones involving caring for others' loved ones, specifically infants, children or pets. In my spare time, I love spending time with my bf, and while he’s a gamer, I enjoy crocheting, a self-taught hobby I've practiced and sold for over 15 years. I've always adored children, starting my caregiving journey by teaching figure skating at age 14, for five years, which led into babysitting roles into adulthood. In 2022, I branched into nannying, caring for my cousin's 3-month-old baby in Squamish, four days a week. My roles with him, aswell as a neighbors' child, have made me keen to further my work with younger children. I especially enjoy working with infants. With the guidance and knowledge shared by my mother, who has over 35 years of experience in specialized developmental care for infants and children, I am able to focus on creative ways of nurturing their development. Although I don't drive, I get around by biking and using public transit, even with stroller-bound children, and love exploring parks and city spots with them. Despite lacking professional qualifications, I've accumulated substantial hands-on experience and prioritize each family's guidelines and expectations while caring for their child. I hope my health transparency won't discourage you from considering me, and I would be happy to answer any questions and provide references. My professional work setting experience began in 2022, beginning with a 3mo old baby. I truly enjoyed my time caring for this young boy and helping to nurture his development. In the 2nd year, I cared for a second child (neighbor) of similar age aswell. My time with the two children continued through mid 2024. My responsibilities included the care & play with the two toddlers throughout the day, feeding/over seeing meal times, putting down for nap time while required, diaper changes/potty training assistance (with guidance/permission of parents), light house work/restoring tidiness at end of each day. Age appropriate activities with the kids included/not limited too: indoor & outdoor play (all weather), exploring simple arts & crafts, lots of reading (number & letter practice), music play, exploring the neighbourhood, parks & age appropriate recreations. Prior to that setting, I have had many years experience in babysitting settings with kids of all ages, during daytime and overnights. Although in my past I did have my First Aid Certification, including infant CPR, it has long sense expired and a full course retake would be required to have certification again. Willing to discuss if this is an issue.

My name is Emiko. I was born and raised in Kawasaki, Japan, and I moved to Canada in April 2010. I am a warm, responsible, and experienced childcare provider who is passionate about supporting young children during their most important developmental years. I have over 15 years of experience as a nursery school teacher in Japan, as well as an additional 15 years working as a nanny and very grateful to have worked long-term with three families in Canada. I've cared for children ranging in age from newborns to eight years old, and I specialize in providing care for infants and toddlers. I also hold a Canadian Early Childhood Education (ECE) license. Working with children is something I am truly passionate about. I find great joy in watching them develop, grow and change. I fully understand how precious this stage in a child’s life is and how quickly it passes. I love spending time with children and assisting in their growth. The lessons they teach me are equally fulfilling. I am constantly in awe of their imagination and sense of wonder, and feel fortunate to be a part of their journeys. I believe that the most important aspects of matching a caregiver and a family are building a strong relationship, trust, and mutual respect. These factors greatly influence children and benefit them greatly. My number one priority is always the children. I make certain that they are well cared for, that appropriate boundaries are set, and that I am there to support them through all the ups and downs of each day. In my personal time, I enjoy the simple joys of life – good food (I consider enjoying food as one of my greatest talents :), cozy cafes, peaceful walks in nature, spending time with close friends, reading, and attending concerts of my favorite band! I will be traveling to Japan from early November to January, 2026, and will be available to start working from January 2026. I’m looking for a long-term part-time or full-time nanny position, 2 to 4 days a week (approx. 9 hours/day ), preferably caring for one infant or toddler to start. -What I Offer Safe, attentive, and nurturing care Age-appropriate play, routines, and developmental support Closely supervise, bathe, dress, feed and care for children Organize activities such as games and outings for children Assist children with personal hygiene and social development Prepare and service nutritious meals Discipline according to the methods requested by the parents Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child

I am a friendly and fun-loving person who really enjoys working with children :) I have lived in Vancouver for most of my life, but was born in Romania and so I try to keep in touch with those cultural elements as much as possible. I graduated from UBC last May with a psychology degree, and I aspire to pursue a master's degree in the future to achieve my dream of being a therapist for youth who face mental health difficulties. In my spare time, I enjoy singing in two choral groups, spending time in nature, catching up with friends, and playing the piano. I babysat my neighbours' two children in Vancouver from 2019 to 2022. One child was 2 years old when I started babysitting, and the other one was 4 years old. I was responsible for serving them dinner, playing games with them, ensuring they went to sleep at their scheduled bedtime, and limiting their screen time at their parents' request. I also occasionally helped the older child with their homework by encouraging them to stay focused and jointly working through difficult questions. Additionally, I took care of children in my volunteer position at a VanDusen Botanical Garden summer camp from June to September 2019. There were 20 children in the camp, and they were 6-8 years old. I helped to design age-appropriate activities related to sustainability, tended to minor injuries and accidents, and helped to resolve conflicts among the children. One of my most memorable achievements was helping three anxious children talk to each other, which led to them becoming friends. I look forward to connecting with you!

I am Anna, a lively 23-year-old with a keen fascination for the great outdoors. Having recently graduated from university, I now reside in Vancouver, sharing a quaint flat with my cousin. I am an outdoor enthusiast, spending considerable amounts of my time backpacking, and orchestrating such trips for kids. I also have a deep passion for photography and filmmaking, capturing the pristine beauty of nature on my ventures. On days when I'm not exploring, I enjoy sprucing up my humble abode and planning for the next big adventure. Over my 5 years of experience, I've worked with children spanning various age groups - from toddlers aged 1-2 years to pre-teens aged 10 and above. Notably, I also have experience with children with disabilities. I am confident in my ability to manage up to three children at a time. My role as a nanny extends to additional services such as light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping and meal preparation for kids, alongside children's laundry, and dress and bath duties. I also provide dog/pet care services and can organize and plan events should the need arise. As an active individual, I enjoy bouldering at my rock climbing gym and lifting weights, which aids greatly in my capabilities to keep up with the energetic youngsters. I am well equipped with First Aid and CPR Training, and bring a certain level of professionalism to my work, respecting dietary restrictions and maintaining a tidy kitchen. Whether you're seeking a full-time nanny, a housekeeper, or even a babysitter, my flexible schedule allows me to work mornings and afternoons, from Monday to Saturday. I am looking forward to nurturing, teaching, and caring for your little ones as if they were my own. I'm eager to put a smile on their faces, providing them with a safe and joyful environment. I am set to commence my duties from the 28th of April, 2026 - looking forward to embarking on this journey together! My childcare work experience comes from babysitting, an internship, several leadership opportunities in a summer camp setting, and short-term nannying jobs the past several summers. One unique role I have taken on was serving as a developmental aid for young children with autism. The children were ages 1-6, and I had five under my care at a time. I would work full days caring for these kids and helping them grow in their development through crafts and activities designed to work on fine and gross motor skills. Another caretaker role I have had for the past two summers has been working as a backpacking guide leading trips for children in the wilderness for 1-8 days at a time, and facilitating safe and fun adventures in the mountains and in nature. This role was full-time (day & night) and taught me how to adapt, respond well under stress, and how to complete daily tasks while creating meaningful experiences. My Bachelor's degree is in Behavioural Science, and I also have a Wilderness Advanced First Responder Certification and past experience as a Lifeguard. I also have my commercial driver's license (Class 4).

I have been studying English literature at UBC for the past couple of years, but I am currently taking a break to work! I love animals and have a cat of my own. I also love kids! I have always been a creative girl, so I find it really easy to engage with children. I’m kind and gentle. I also have ocd so I can attest to my cleaning skills. Most recently I have been working with a sweet 18 month old baby helping keep the house clean and the child entertained and fed! Before by job there, I worked as a full time nanny for two young girls. One of the girls had severe adhd, so I have experience administering medication. I transported these girls to and from school, and to all their activities. I felt like such a part of the family; I really enjoyed my time. There was also a miniature dachshund I cared for named waffles! Before this job, I babysat all the children in my neighborhood in California! Babies, toddlers, and tweens. I have worked as a baker, and elsewhere in the food service industry, so I have food safe certification. I am dependable, kind, and easy going.

I’m looking for some extra hours on some evenings aside my main nanny job! :) My name is Kazue (Kay), and I’m a professional nanny with over 16 years of experience caring for children from 8-week-old infants to school-aged kids. Originally from Japan, I’ve worked with wonderful families across Squamish, Calgary, and Vancouver — and what I cherish most about this work is the opportunity to become part of the family. I am a calm, organized, and respectful caregiver who values open communication and always prioritizes the wishes of parents. My goal is to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can thrive. Before moving to Canada, I worked in a daycare/preschool setting in Japan, caring for infants and toddlers. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of supporting families in both long-term and short-term roles, including travel within Canada and overseas. I’m comfortable caring for children in and around water, having been a competitive swimmer for over 10 years. Currently, I work Monday to Friday as a nanny and also provide regular babysitting to a few local families on some evenings and weekends. It has been a joy to build lasting relationships and watch the children grow over the years. I live in the Arbutus area and am ideally looking for work on Vancouver’s West Side, but I’m happy to travel for the right family. [Qualifications] - Driver's License - Reliable Vehicle - First Aid/CPR - Updated Criminal Record Check - Excellent Local References [My Services] - Ensuring the safety of children and maintaining a secure environment - Feeding and washing bottles - Preparing/cooking/baking healthy snacks and lunch - Putting children down for naps - Helping them learn through play, music, outdoor exploration, stories, and providing lots of love and encouragement - Outdoor trips around the neighborhood, playtime at the park, nature walks, trips to the community center, and the science world - Indoor play, drawing, coloring, arts and crafts, singing, and imaginative play - Potty training - Sleep training (I am not a specialist but have successfully sleep-trained some children) - Dog walking - Travel nanny: General care for children during trips, including feeding, bathing, and bedtime routines - Household management: Light housekeeping (tidying up after myself and the child, child's laundry, unloading/loading dishwasher, throwing out the trash/recycling, wiping counters, and organizing children's areas), open to more if time permits. 1 year with an infant and toddler in daycare/preschool in Japan, a few months volunteering at a daycare in Squamish, and family daycare in Calgary. 16 years as a professional nanny/babysitter in Canada. Additionally, experience with a nanny share with 4 families.
