We are seeking a responsible and energetic individual for a part-time flexible afternoon/morning care role for our two girls aged 3 and 8. Your role will involve taking care of our two girls approximately 3 to 6 times a month, primarily during late afternoons/evenings and some mornings. Duties would mainly involve picking up or dropping off the kids at school and daycare. You would need to have your own car and a valid driver's license, as a car isn't provided. A toddler care seat will be made available to you. Additionally, you would also be expected to prepare meals primarily dinner and breakfast for the girls. We state this point specifically because we are not looking for house cleaning services, but we would expect a general level of tidiness in the kitchen after their meals. A light requirement would be taking care of our dog which may involve short walks or pee breaks. Hence, an affection for pets would be an added bonus. Our schedule varies but we can provide it to you a month in advance to help you plan your days. We anticipate the role will require less than 20 hours per week. To reiterate, this is a live-out, part-time position with the preferred start date being 01.09.2026. If you're an individual who displays kindness, responsibility, enjoys looking after children and is able to make a commitment then we would love to hear from you. This is a part-time role but we're in search of someone who we can depend on. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

We have a 21 month old, first baby. Very social active kiddo. Our daughter is usually at daycare M-F 9AM-5PM. I’m not working at the moment but will be going back to work hopefully soon. I’ve posted a job a few times but with my stressed Mom brain I have not been able to get to actually get to interviewing. I’m going to give it another try. I’m hoping to have to get things organized to have a smoother transition back to work. Our friends and family are out of town so it has been difficult keeping up with life as our little gets more and more busy. We also have two friendly cats so we require someone who is okay with having cats around. We are easy-going people. Most of the time I will remain home to meal prep, clean, or catch up on paper work. We require assistance with keeping the home and child things organized including washing dishes, wiping the fridge, keeping the surfaces wiped down, sweeping the floor, changing over/folding laundry, really just help as I will be home and we can do the work together. We are currently looking for afternoon evenings 4 hours 3-7 or 2-6 or 4-8 and 4 hours on Saturday mornings. Anticipated 50-50 house to child minding duties I think that’s good. We will be holding interviews this weekend July 18-19. Please indicate if you are available on those days and when. I look forward to meeting you. i
