I’m Jake! I’m 31, originally from the sleepy ski town of field BC nestled in the cozy, beautiful and world renowned Yoho national park. I’ve just returned from working and travelling in Guatemala for the last 9 months and now looking for a work opportunity! My most recent stint was in Guatemala at a dog sanctuary and rescue in a small aboriginal town on the banks of lake àtitlan, I was there for 3 months. Our large family has always owned animals. For the last seven years I have been a caregiver to a senior dog with pancreatic issues. Plenty of veterinary visits and special dietary needs. I am the one friends and family call on when they need a pet sitter. We have had family dogs the entirety of my life. In adulthood I have also had cats. My dearest friend recently moved to Manitoba with 47 animals in tow. I have had no shortage of exposure to all kinds of critters, but I am most familiar with cats and dogs.
