I am a nanny but I can also look after pets. I always loved being a nanny and I’ve been doing it the longest time I remember. In my opinion pets and kids are no difference, they both need lots of care and attention and everything any breathing species needs. I do not have a professional experience with animals but I think that sincerity and true passion caring about them is the most important aspect. I do not have a professional experience but I always have pets in my life and I do love them in general. I grew up having cats and dogs in my family. My name is Camille, I am 29 years old, I come from France and I am a research assistant at the CHUM (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday). I'm looking for an extra job and I immediately considered pets sitting because I love taking care of pets and I love playing games with them. I got my first dog when I was 6 years old. After it grew older and passed away, I was very sad. I also had numerous cats that had kittens, and I took care of all of them. Eventually, I had too many cats, so I had to give some away. I have experience with both types of pets. I’ve had a cat and a dog for years. The cat is gone now. My dog had passed away from old age. I have experience with cats and dogs.

I have had dogs and cats all my life. They are an essential part of my day which wouldn’t be complete without them. I am also very comfortable around birds, fish and reptiles. Since I was born, cats and dogs part of my daily life. I watch my brothers dog when he is out of town. I also took care of a rabbit which was new for me and great fun. I adore animals and animals adore me. My special weakness is a dog. I have experience with pets whole my life. I am born living with various pets in a house in my country, cats, dogs, pigs, chicken etc. :) In Montreal, I have 2 cats for 9 years already. However, I have no experience walking a dog since mentality in my country is completely different, but I am willing to learn.

Growing up, my household was filled with a plethora of animals ranging from common pets like dogs and cats to more unique ones such as monkeys, snakes, birds, and fish. I can confidently say that taking care of creatures, both mentally and emotionally, has become a true passion of mine. Additionally, I derive great joy from fulfilling their dietary needs and ensuring their overall well-being. I love animals and nature is my knife and passion. I have been working and training dogs professionally in different countries.

About me: Wherever I go, I make trusted connections with animals. I understand that they need to accept you into their world of comfort, and I am honoured when an animal wants to be friends! Genuinely, I wish I had my own pets, but I would only want to bring an animal into my life if I were ready to be fully responsible financially and otherwise, so until then, I'd love to spend time with as many animals as possible, so we can keep each other company. I have had (and still have) family pets (a dog and one cat ~ R.I.P. to my 3rd old kitty who has passed now), but they live far away which breaks my heart! We facetime often <3 I've become very available recently due to my change of work, so my schedule is quite flexible. I've spent time with various friends who have worked as pet sitters and even hung out with some of the animals with them here in Montreal! I've been wanting to do this for a while, so I hope that we can meet soon and make this happen! I should also mention I really value relationship building, so if it's a good fit for us both, I will nourish our relationship so that you feel safe and happy leaving your babies with me every time you leave town. I have a lot of experience with animals - formal and informal. First off, I have worked in a vet hospital as a vet assistant in the past, which means that, although I was not a technician, I was in charge of taking care of animals (dogs, cats, snakes, rabbits, iguanas, etc.) with the support of other staff. I deeply enjoyed this job, and I miss spending time with and meeting so many animals in a week! I have also volunteered at a feline adoption center in the past.  My more informal experience is simply that I've helped raise several animals within my family home as well as dog sat for family members and friends throughout my whole life. I have also done many pet sitting gigs, but this will be my first time having it officially "on paper". Most of my experience has been in California as I grew up there, so we would often go on hikes together (dogs of course) or hang out at home - whatever the parents were comfortable with! I'm happy to take your lead on what your animals' routines are of course. I love to walk everywhere and I understand the importance of exercise in a dog's life. If you need a house sitter, this option is ideal for me since I live in an apartment! My availabilities are much for flexible for this. I'm happy to do minor cleaning and maintenance for longer jobs as long as cleaning supplies are provided ! Vet assistant experience (not veterinarian)
