My pronouns are they/she, and I am 31 years old. I am a certified postpartum doula and am looking for part to full time work as I build my business. Ideally, I would like to find a family who needs childcare or housekeeping help near in the Vancouver area a few days a week. I have worked in a variety of fields but find nothing quite as rewarding as working with kids and families. My goal is to create a safe, caring, and fun environment for the children I work with. I believe in gentle and compassionate parenting, and. I like to focus on teaching kindness and emotional intelligence using skills I have learned taking a Dialectical Behavior Therapy program. I also am extremely silly and enjoy all kinds of imaginative play, creative crafts, outdoor exploration, and music. In my free time, I am an artist and storyteller. I create murals and weird crafts (I made a pirate ship out of cardboard with a working anchor and plank), and run games of Dungeons and Dragons. I strive for radical kindness, honesty, and genuine care in all of my interactions and would expect the same from the families I work with.

I finished a two year contract with two wonderful toddlers who are now ready for daycare last year. I spent some time becoming a certified postpartum doula, while also continuing nanny work. Before that, I have years of experience babysitting, nannying, and doing mothers helper work, as well as after school care and summer camp care.
