Canadian woman with over a decade working as a care provider for people of all ages and abilities. I currently hold a Social Services Worker Diploma and am working towards a BSW. Indepence and life skills focused - I enjoy and am passionate about empowering others to see their strengths and potential, to help grow their current skills and talents. I enjoy crafts, activities, games, books, and outdoor activities like hiking, the park, the beach, dog park. Familiar with PECS and alternative communication methods. I believe in honouring all individuals and supporting their goals and growth.

Currently 26. Have been caring for little ones since I was 12 and got my babysitting license. Since then, I have volunteered at daycares, worked as a respite/ life skills worker for children with developmental disabilities, and taught English to children in the Krabi province of Thailand. Most recently, I have been working at a group home for adults with developmental disabilities and dementia, but I feel many aspects and requirements of the job overlap- compassion, empathy, setting boundaries, communication, etc.
