My name is Summer and I am currently living in North Vancouver on a Working/Holiday Visa. At this moment I am employed at Grouse Mountain in a full-time position. However, due to the unfortunate weather I am considering moving to part-time to only work weekends. I am passionate with working with children, a primary school teacher is my life long dream once I decide to stop travelling. I enjoy outdoor activities and sport, especially lacrosse and water polo. I am an organized, enthusiastic person who loves to put smiles on others faces. I have grown up in a big family so working, compromising and being patient with others are also key traits of mine. I am a swim instructor, teacher's assistant, and nanny back home in Australia with over 2 and a half years of experience. I will be only able to work up until the end of April.

*As I am on a working/holiday Visa from Australia, all these jobs listed below finished at the end of October 2023 when I cam over to Canada! 2021 - 2023 I worked as a nanny for a family of 2 siblings with the duties of picking them up after school, making snacks and dinner, helping complete homework and prepare for extra curricular activities. 2022 - 2023 I work at a swim school as a swim instructor and manager. In these positions I learnt how to handle up to 15 children at once with all different needs and desired outcomes. *This also included private support need classes 2021-2023 I have worked in Primary Schools as a teachers aid, assisting children with learning difficulties and general classroom activities.
