Hello! My name is Alexis, I am 20 years old, and living in North Vancouver with my younger sister and our dog. I work as a professional actor and singer within the Theatre, and Film/TV industry, so I am a really big advocate for expressing creativity and encouraging others to explore their passions. I enjoy spending time with my dog, reading, and going on adventures. I really love organization and cleaning, so I am more than eager to ensure that your household meets my personal standards of cleanliness so you can come home and relax. More than anything though, I adore working with children. I know it is a lot for a parent to entrust their kids into someone else's hands for a brief amount of time, but I pride myself on creating a safe, fun environment, where the children I care for feel loved and heard.

I have worked in a daycare for over a year, supervising multiple kids at a time, ranging in ages from about a year and a half to six years old. My responsibilities included guiding them through a basic educational lesson plan, which would smooth their transition into kindergarten, overseeing their play time and creative activities, and observing each child individually, to gain a sense of how myself and the parents can support them on their developmental journey. I have worked as a babysitter, English tutor, and camp counsellor for preschoolers and grade schoolers. I used to volunteer with several horse organizations, who specialized in connecting children with the animals. In high school, I worked as a Teacher's Assistant for two years, in the Drama and English departments. I also acted as the team lead of the welcoming committee for students being introduced to high school. Additionally, I occasionally work as a Princess Entertainer, which requires me to be fully engaged and patient with the children I interact with.
