Hi Families, My name is Ava, I am North Vancouver born and raised! I am outgoing, hardworking and just love to be outside. I grew up skiing competitively and now coach as well, and have a deep passion for sport in general. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Journalism, and freelance writing alongside that. I have extensive training in multiple different programs and courses for child care, safety, lifesaving and coaching. I am extremely hard-working, creative, and a great communicator and love to see kids have fun and learn new things. I can cook, clean, tutor, and do many other household chores. I have a variety of experience and qualifications in childcare. I have worked as a babysitter for 6+ years, from infants to pre-teen and have worked/managed at summer camps. I also have experience coaching multiple sports (safety in sport certified), where I have taught and cared for kids ages 3-15. I have experience working with large numbers of young kids in high and low-risk environments and managing staff to ensure the safety of everyone involved. I am CPR, AED, Bronze Cross, and First Aid certified. (I have my babysitter's licence as well).
