Hello. My name is Anya. I am 16 years old and am willing to help babysit children in accordance with school and extracurricular activities. I am the second of 7 children, meaning that I am accustomed to working with kids of various ages. Furthermore, I have worked professionally with other families during the summer. I am a top-level athlete and an incredibly hard worker. I am very reliable and promise to ensure a fun and safe environment for your children. I worked in the summer with two children (F 10 and M 6) from 6:30 am - 3:30 pm for a week's time. Throughout that job, I was described as an "extremely dependable, reliable and hardworking individual" who "was focused on her responsibilities, played games, did art, and played outside, all enthusiastically. " Furthermore, I have babysat my five younger siblings multiple times (ages 6 - 14) and have experience working with kids from various age groups. I am currently entering grade 11 and have done First Aid and CPR classes through my school.

I currently live in London Ontario with my family and have lived here most of my life. I grew up in a family on four; my sister and I and my parents. It was amazing having a little sister to grow up with, do her hair, entertain her and play games with her. Having her really helped me to understand how children work and how to behave around younger ones. When I was younger we lived in Windsor for a few years due to a job change for my dad and when I was growing up both here and in Windsor, I was always the kid on the block to babysit for the neighbours and help out with the daycare on our street. I really love working and playing with kids because I know I have such a big imagination, which really helps because children love to believe in things that aren't actually real. Working with children really brings me so much joy and one day once I finish school I hope to become an RN(registered nurse) so that I can contribute the love I have for wanting to help people and how much I care for children into that field. I mostly babysat daily when I was growing up, never really needed me everyday but I understand the needs that children need for the day. I have never been a nanny before but I have years of babysitting experience and a lot of great references that can stand by me. I starting babysitting at the age of 8 until now (age 19). I continue to babysit for people who need me if I am not working. I have taken care of so many children for long hours on different days that I feel like I can be qualified for taking care of children for multiple days with long hours. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: Salary per hour can be negotiable due to the number of children. I am currently saving up money so that I can go to college/ university within the next couple of years.

Hi - My name is Amanda / Mandy. I am a highly driven, mature student, with a strong passion for writing. I consider myself to have great attention to detail, strong communication skills and high levels of creativity. I have proven ability to stay organized and optimistic while volunteering with vulnerable populations at the Trillium Childhood Cancer Support Centre; organizing and facilitating programs within the YMCA, and balancing the demands of post-secondary education and employment. I am currently transitioning from a major in Disability Studies to a career in the sciences, as an RPN or RN. Some of my interests include a passion for the arts, including reading, writing, and drawing/painting. I also enjoy yoga and a good action movie, or a cartoon. - - - - - - - I obtained my First/Aid & CPR first in September 2018, and in October 2019, I updated my certification to the HCP (Healthcare Practioner) level. I have been working with kids since my early teenage years, and love it. I started by babysitting for kids in the Oakridge neighborhood at 13, and continue to provide care to my six nephews. Over the last few years, I have worked primarily with children aged 2-12, both as an in-school educator for the YMCA, as well as at the Trillium Childhood Cancer Support Centre. These experiences have allowed me to organize and facilitate activities with medium-sized groups and introduced me to various areas of care for individuals with health challenges. Other employment experience I have obtained includes food service, retail, and a combined medical outreach and administrative position with Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario.
