I am a dynamic and engaging individual who values being active, spending time outside, and engaging in creative pursuits. I love to spend time with family and friends and value connection. In my spare time, I love to travel, explore new places, and engage in activities. I am a runner, a hockey player, an Aunt, a (retired) rugby play and sing in my local choir! For the last nine years, I have worked as a Middle and High School Teacher, bringing a wealth of experience and a strong passion for fostering student growth. My approach to teaching and learning is centered around building relationships with students in order to truly understand who they are and what they need. My background within education includes several years of teaching experience in diverse school settings, where I have developed a strong understanding of my own practice. As an educator, I create opportunities for students to explore, ask questions and discover their own interests and passions. I am skilled in differentiated instructions and, have extensive experience supporting students of various learning styles and abilities. Within my work, I ensure students feel seen, safe, and supported, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to fostering a positive environment. Further, I prioritize ensuring student's social and emotional needs, understanding that through doing so, students are able to reach success.

I have been a Middle School Teacher for the past nine years, working within Victoria as well as abroad. Further, I have extensive experience in supporting students social emotional well-being and, incorporate skill building into all I do to ensure students feel empowered to try their best, engage in new experiences, and grow as students, friends, and citizens.
