Saying goodbye to my 35-year long career as a dental receptionist, I stepped in to look after her 24/7, assisting with all her needs. Upon her passing, I realized my genuine passion for helping the elderly. Now, with about three years of experience, I'm committed to providing empathetic and professional care to seniors. I'm flexible, available throughout the week from mornings to evenings, and can start immediately. Although I cannot relocate, I am capable and willing to travel. Karen R.Dec2023-Jan.2024. I was Karen's caregiver who has dementia and limited eyesite until she was placed in a nursing home. I worked in her daughters home. My duties included showering, dressing, assisting her with eating, toileting and companionship. A Friend Indeed. 2021-2022. My scope of responsibilites was to offer companionship with clients that needed socialization. This could involve outings or in home visitations. Donna Q. 2021-2023. I was Donna's personal companion and caregiver at her private residence. I assisted her with dressing, toileting, laundry, companionship, shopping, preparation of meals as well as accompaning her on outings.

I have no formal training although I was my mother's full-time caregiver in her home. She eventually required a hospital bed in her home. I administered pain meds and assisted her caregiver with bathing using a lift to transfer her from bed to bathroom.
