I have always had pets. I set up a little home boarding enterprise as a teenager, so my love of animals goes back a long way. I trained as a kennel medic when I left school and worked in boarding and show kennels. I have worked in animal sanctuaries in both the UK and the USA and have worked with a wide range of species, from exotic fish and dogs to cats, birds of prey, snakes, otters, and big cats. Until recently, I have always had my own dogs, which I have typically rescued from charities. I have also fostered dogs for national charities and have been involved in various aspects of dog training..I am believer that positive re enforcement is by far the best most effective training method i have gained knowledge though courses workshops but mostly though years of experience .
I am very knowledgeable about animal husbandry, and my passion is canine behavioral science. Currently, I am providing exercise and enrichment for a neighbor's dog.
