I'm Jae, a 28-year-old passionate about cooking, hailing from Ontario, but currently residing in Montreal. Raised in a family with culinary roots, cooking has been a big part of my life since childhood, learning from the very best - my father, who is a professional chef. Over the past couple of years, living alone in this city presented me with the opportunity to broaden my culinary skills and knowledge, ultimately leading me to develop a deep appreciation for the art that is food and cooking. While I pour love and creativity in preparing delicious and diverse meals, I also understand the importance of a sanitized environment. My commitment to adhering to hygienic standards, along with the use of modern cooking technology, ensures that my kitchen is always in the best shape. Having worked as a cook for three years, the various duties I've performed include table setting, serving, keeping the kitchen clean, preparing daily meals, and even cooking children's meals. Besides that, I enjoy baking and preparing pastries. I'm comfortable preparing a variety of food, including Korean, Canadian, Chinese, and Japanese. However, one of my strengths certainly is Filipino and Vietnamese cuisine, drawing from my heritage and personal experience. As for the days and hours I am available, I can work any weekday mornings and mid-day. I'm open to consider full-time positions, specifically as a private/personal cook or a family cook. I possess a driver's license, can travel as required, and committed to maintaining a smoke-free environment. Finally, if you need to confirm my credibility further, I'm completely open to procuring a police check. I simply cannot wait to create some memorable meals for you and your family!

I've worked as a private chef/family cook for multiple families over the last few years. I don't have any formal training, as I was taught by family members and from working in the food industry (in fast food, and in sit down restaurants) Food is my passion, and I hope to one day save up enough money to go back to school for culinary arts.
