I am a soft spoken and gentle older lady who has raised two daughters of my own who are now Adults. My husband has worked for the BC Government for the past 36 years. I mention this so you can get an understanding of my background and the people that are in my life. I Moved to Canada over 14 years ago from the Ukraine and understand and communicate in English. But please understand English is my second language so their is always a learning curve to be able to improve my English. I was blessed to become a Canadian Citizen 10 years ago. I can supply References if needed and also a Police background check. I could take care of children in my own home but are willing to travel a short distance as well and come to your home. I am open to different hours for the right position. I have worked with with younger and older children. My last job has ended as the circumstances for the family have changed. The family had me looking after their 2 year old daughter who I cared for 10 months. They now decided to enrol her to daycare to interact with other children. My prior job I worked for the family for over 1 and half years looking after 1 and sometimes two small children, who all started school. Prior to that I worked for a family with 2 children for 2 years which ended because the family changed the children care with the children going to pre- school. And the family I worked for before that lasted 3 years because the children are now old enough to take care of themselves. I believe the children are the number 1 concern. I also believe that going for walks and taking the children to play grounds and other outings is always fun. I believe it is important to spend all of my time meeting the children's needs such as reading books or doing small things such as math or building blocks and other fun things to do, also being able to address and concerns the parents might have. I am an asset to people who require a Russian or Ukrainian speaking Nanny, as I also speak these two languages. I am a non smoker and do not indulge in drinking. For more information please email me.
