I moved to Montreal from Australia in 2016 to study circus at Ecole Nationale de Cirque. I have taught circus classes to children of all ages since 2013. Growing up, I surfed and also worked as a surfing instructor for children. Since 2019, I have been working as a professional circus performer. In 2022, I directed and performed in a show that I co-created with my partner, Noah. We are continuing to work on our own projects, which provides me with a very open and flexible schedule. Teaching circus arts: 2013-2016: Flying Fruit Fly Circus Australia. Duties: teaching circus to children from the ages of 4 to 15. The groups were separated based on skill level. I would teach up to 60 kids with 3 other instructors and 8 kids one on one. I taught general acrobatics, aerials, juggling, skipping, trampoline etc. also warm ups and cool downs. Another important aspect of Circus teaching is cultivating a fun positive and safe learning environment.
