Hi. My background is in childcare, first and foremost as a Mom of three children as well as a Granmmie of 5 precious grand-children. When my own children were young, I ran a home daycare for 15 years & after they started high school, I worked for over 12 years at a non-profit organization that focuses on the safety & well-being of children. As my husband and I head towards our retirement years, I decided to go back to my passion of being with little ones on a daily basis & consequently went to work in daycare. Shortly thereafter I began working as a nanny for several families for over 13 years now until their children ( aged 2 weeks old up to 4 years old) began daycare/school. I am now looking for a part-time position, approximately 2-3 days a week, thus allowing me more time to spend with my own munchkins, especially in the summer months. My hobbies are reading, baking, gardening & writing. I am also able to provide references, upon request, from any of the families for whom I have recently worked.
