Julia H.
Hi! My name is Julia . I am 18, soon to turn 19 in April. I strive to bring youthful enthusiasm with children to every interaction. I am fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English, and I can provide a culturally diverse and inclusive environment where children can thrive and grow. Whether engaging in imaginative play, facilitating educational activities, or simply offering a listening ear, I prioritize building strong and trusting relationships with the children under my care. Additionally, as a first-year university student majoring in criminology, I bring a commitment to learning and personal growth to all aspects of my life. Parents can trust in my responsible and caring nature, knowing that I prioritize safety, empathy, and positive reinforcement in every interaction with their children. With dedication and enthusiasm, I aim to create a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel valued, respected, and encouraged to explore the world around them. I have a good amount of experience with kids, as I was a part of the Special Needs Support Staff at a local summer camp, and I also did co-op in a local elementary school. I am a goal-oriented individual with excellent verbal communication skills and a proven ability to provide exceptional care for clients. Skilled in building relationships and understanding client needs, as well as managing sensitive information with confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations.
During my time as a Special Needs Support Staff at a local summer camp ran by the City of Toronto, I provided personalized care and support to a camper with special needs, ensuring their well-being through ongoing training and proactive supervision. I also was placed in a local elementary school for co-op. I assisted teachers in maintaining an engaging learning environment by promoting discipline and cooperation among students. These experiences have deepened my understanding of working with children and reinforced my dedication to providing support and encouragement to those in need.
