SUMMARY: Loving family is seeking a live out nanny to create a nurturing and safe environment for their elementary school children. We are looking for a hands on nanny who takes initiative, is intentional in the way they nanny, who is loving, has a positives attitude, and who truly enjoys interacting and engaging with children. Our current nanny is going on maternity leave earlier than expected which is why we are looking. PRIMARY DUTIES: • Experienced working with school aged children. • Willing to work collaboratively with parents. • Prepare children for school and accompany them to/from school. • Able to transport children to and from play dates, outings, classes. • Guide children on etiquette and manners. • Able to prepare fresh and healthy snacks and meals. • Household duties such as children’s laundry and tidying up. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Capable of building rapport with children. • Intuitive to the needs of the children. • Ability to easily take direction. • Non-smoker. • Reliability and punctuality. • Excellent communication skills. • Creative, energetic, positive, happy, nurturing, calm demeanor. • Organized and detail-oriented. • Proactive, resourceful and take initiative to get things done. . PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: • Understands that confidentiality and discretion is required. • Ability to complete background checks, motor vehicle checks and drug tests. • Driver's license and clean driving record. • CPR and First Aid certification • Legal to work in Canada. • References available.
