Mother of two teenagers with over 20 years of classroom experience. I have worked with students with a variety of needs-neurodiverse, ELL, etc. I am currently Learning Resource and Grade 1. I have a Bachelor of Arts with major in History and Psychology minor and Bachelor of Elementary Education. I am passionate about literacy and have undertaken a lot of self directed professional development in this area. I taught online during COVID when schools closed, so I am also available on Zoom. I volunteer as regional coordinator for organization called, No Stone Left Alone that works to get students actively involved in Remembrance Day services an honouring military service.

I have taught K-3, worked as Learning Resource teacher and teacher librarian.
