Hello, I am Mary, a passionate and friendly tutor who has spent the last 2 years tutoring young learners in the subjects of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and computer science. Currently a student at Georgian College, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Physics, along with complementary subjects such as chemistry and mathematics. Aside from theoretical teaching, I have a knack for preparing students for both school and exams. A crucial part of learning is comfort and mutual respect, that's why I always make my students feel at ease and inspired during our sessions. I am able to adapt to different learning styles and steer my teaching approach as required. I take pride in helping my students understand complex concepts and I am always patient in ensuring they fully grasp each topic before moving on to the next. I'm fluent in English, Malayalam so I can help with language barriers if needed. You will find me available full-time from Monday through Friday, both mornings and evenings. I am based in Thornhill but can also travel if your preference is for home-based tutoring. Online tutoring is an option as well. I am open to working with students aged between 6 to 17 years.
