I'm Hyla, an experienced tutor passionate about teaching English and Social Science. For over three years, I've educated and assisted students, ranging from running a neighborhood daycare to planning children's recreational camps. As an indigenous person, my respect for the environment influences my teaching. I'm fluent in English and French and can work with ages 3-15, including special needs students. In addition to general tutoring, I can help with exam prep. I've honed my attention to detail as a bike mechanic assistant, ensuring a fun and safe learning environment for students. I'm outgoing and strive to build great relationships with students. I'm flexible, available mornings to evenings, Monday to Friday, and offer both in-person and online tutoring. As a non-smoker with a car and driver's license, I'm open to travel if required.
