Sarah K.
I am from London, England and moved to Montreal in October 2023. I am a person who likes to see the glass half full and am always finding ways to make sure my life is fun. I am a very creative person. I am always making things (knitting, crocheting, sewing, cross stitching or even drawing sometimes). I love music, my whole family is very musical and playing/listening to it is a big part of my life. I love being active with friends and trying new activities (I recently took a fabric printing course and now have a lovely patterned pillow case in my home). I am very optimistic and enjoy helping other people see the good in life. Kindness is contagious! I think all of this helps me be a great teacher. I have endless patience and I love to help children find their own journey and help them progress in their learning in the most fun and useful ways possible.
I have been working in the education system for nearly 15 years now. I am a fully qualified teacher from London, England and have had a plethora of experience in primary schools in England. I love teaching and I find many fun engaging ways to make sure my lessons are suitable for the person taking part and also that they are fun and enjoyable. In my last job, I was a department head and so had the extra responsibility of making sure that all children under my departments team made exceptional progress in their development. I am currently learning French full time before getting a teaching job, but I really miss helping children learn and getting those eureka moments in the classroom. I take great pride in my work and would love to help your child progress. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
