Hello! My name is Kayla. I am about to acquire my B.Education in Concurrent Education(teaching) and my BA in sport psychology psychology. This allows me to bring a well-rounded and dynamic teaching approach. Having three years of work experience, I've had the opportunity to teach grade 8 students and contribute as an ECA. Equally important, I've been able to employ both cognitive and motor learning skills for children aged 6 months to 3 years. I also have specialized knowledge and experience teaching children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and other intellectual and physical disabilities. My aim is to create a learning environment that is engaging and inclusive. I am excited about my upcoming role as a private tutor. I am capable of teaching a range of subjects including English, Geography, Social Sciences, Psychology, Biology, and Mathematics. My preferred teaching environment is either at my home or online. In my endeavour to help students excel, whether it's preparing them for school or exams, I employ the Montessori method of education. I aim to provide a nurturing and proactive learning environment for students aged 3 to 15. As a Canadian citizen fluent in English, I am eager to connect with students and use my skills to foster their educational growth.

I am a Concurrent Education major, and have taught in the sudbury district school board, and I am also an ECA towards children from 6months-3years for cognitive and motor learning skills.
