I'm Mj, a passionate and dedicated registered nurse from the Philippines, currently based in West Vancouver. For over 9 years, I've had the privilege of refining my caring skills in various settings, including hospitals, senior homes, and providing in-home care. Recently, I've embarked on a post-degree Nursing Practice Program at Langara College, aiming to practice as a Canadian Registered Nurse. What initially drove me to this profession was a deep-rooted wish of taking care of my grandma. This desire eventually evolved into a deeper dedication to becoming a professional who loves and provides care to the elderly. Together with my mother, also a healthcare professional, we've built a reliable team of Filipino nurses and caregivers. My adroitness as a healthcare provider is underscored by my substantial working experience dealing with various conditions such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Stroke, and many more. I am well-versed in an array of care duties including housekeeping, meal planning/preparation, escort to appointments, lifting and transfers, oxygen administration, ambulation assistance, and Alzheimer/Dementia care among others.
