My name is Diane, and I am a seasoned caregiver with a unique background that encompasses various facets of healthcare support. Combining years of experience in daycare and nanny roles, having owned a home daycare, and serving as a Personal Support Worker, Death Doula and Registered Yoga Teacher, I've developed a comprehensive approach to providing patient-centered care. My role as a death doula and yoga teacher has particularly shaped my approach, enabling me to handle grief and trauma with compassion and non-judgment. I also practice and teach yoga and meditation, which I believe allows me to thrive in demanding and stressful environments effectively.
My mission is to provide top-tier holistic healthcare services for the elderly and the differently-abled. I am skilled in a wide range of duties, including Palliative care, Alzheimer/Dementia Care, Parkinson care, among others. Also ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) assistance are within my purview. I have experience working with various diagnoses, including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Cancer, to mention a few.
Reliability is one of my strongest virtues – I am organized, detail-oriented, efficient in time management, and available to work full time or part-time from Monday to Sunday, morning, afternoon, and evenings. I currently reside in Smithville and am willing to work in Home Health Care setups, Clinics, Hospitals, or Retirement Homes.
I am open to acquiring additional training as needed, and eager to continue to improve my knowledge and skills to better support my clients and teammates. As such, I am searching for a position as a Caregiver/Companion or Personal Support Worker where I can bring my expertise, dedication, and care to those most in need of it.
