Hello there, My name is Colleen and I reside in James Bay with my husband and our two rescue dogs. I am offering my services as a caregiver/companion to an individual who mostly requires help in the evenings and overnight. I can assist with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, shopping, companionship, pet care, medication reminders, attentive listening, bathing, and toileting. My experience includes working with children, animals, and caregiving for my mother who had cancer. Though my experience might seem limited, I am a compassionate, patient, considerate, responsible, and caring person endowed with a big heart and common sense. I have always had a soft spot for seniors and the older generation - I consider myself to be an old soul who loves hearing stories and connecting with people. My husband, who is often busy with work and studying to become a commercial pilot, is usually home in the evenings with our dogs. I enjoy gardening, cooking, the outdoors, heritage sites, travel, animals and making cyanotype prints. I like vintage faires and tea. I have a son and daughter inlaw that live in Montreal. Home care for cancer patient.

I can take a first aid course and cpr course. My background has been working with animals in a veterinarian hospital and doing conservation work. Years and years of babysitting, housekeeping and caring for my Mom who had cancer is my only caregiver position. I have always been fond of seniors and helping others.
