My name is Vik, a 26 year old female dedicated to providing quality care for seniors and individuals with health conditions. Living in Victoria, BC, I have spent over a year working passionately in the health care sector, building skills in patient care and assistance. My daily duties encompass a wide range of activities such as ambulation, bathing, toileting and dressing assistance, housekeeping, planning meals and outings, Alzheimer/Dementia care, and more. As a caregiver, I've gained significant experience working with patients diagnosed with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Dementia amongst others. My education as a health care aide, in first aid and CPR has honed my capabilities, and I am open to further skill development for the benefit of my patients. As an individual, I regard myself as someone patient with excellent problem-solving abilities. A non-smoker and I am keen on ensuring safety. In my downtime, I relish in reading, art, gardening, and exploring outdoors. I value commitment, and I'm looking forward to a part-time Live-Out arrangement starting from 19th September 2023. I do not have children but can comfortably work with children with disabilities. Respectful of the privacy and wellbeing of my clients, I am willing to undergo any required police checks.
