I'm originally from Japan but have lived in Vancouver, Canada for the past two years, pursuing nursing education in a well-regarded college. Over two years, I've balanced rigorous academic studies with practical caregiving work, aiding individuals with tasks such as meal consumption and personal hygiene. I have 15 years experience as a LPN and RN at acute care ward (post surgery), long-term care ward and pediatric ward in Japan. The longest time I worked was in long-term care wards, and I have experiences with nasogastric tubes, gastrostomy, stoma care, sputum suctioning, oxygen administration, central venous nutrition, and ventilators, as well as nursing experience with elderly dementia and bed-ridden patients.
