my name is Ma Cristina and I am a highly experienced caregiver in senior/health care with 10 years of working experience. I am excited to start immediately and I am available in the evenings from Monday to Friday. I am a 38-year-old woman living in Vancouver, and although I cannot relocate, I am more than willing to travel for work. While I don't have a driver's license or a vehicle, I do have a work permit and I am a non-smoker. Additionally, I am a strong swimmer and hold certifications in Caregiver/Companion, Home Support Worker, First Aid, and CPR. As for my education, I have attended college and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in the field. I am skilled in various duties, including housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning/preparation, and bathroom cleaning. I am also experienced in assisting with walking, providing companionship, and organizing visits and outings. Moreover, I am trained in caring for patients with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, dementia, diabetes, and other conditions. In terms of desired employment, I am looking for part-time work on a live-out basis. I am open to working in home health care, retirement homes, or clinics/hospitals. As a Filipino citizen, I am fluent in Arabic, English, Hindi, and Tagalog. While I prefer occasional/as-needed working terms, I am willing to obtain a police check if required. As I started my stay here in Canada I am providing care for adult especially with the elderly who has dementia, brain injury, and with aging disease process. Even though it is a part time job but still relevant with my professional practice. I am assisting these patients with their daily routines that includes personal and social interactions. Furthermore, I can be a companion for an elderly client.
