PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Experience with lift and transfer residents using proper techniques and equipment -Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, feeding, personal care, bathing and meal preparation -Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld -Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and behaviour management -Assist with medication and medication reminders -Continuously observe residents and their environments -Complete and maintain related records -Communicate and demonstrate basic information in accordance with pre-established Plan of Care -Performing patient watch for confused patients with dementia or delirium in clinical care settings. Providing orientation to date, time, and place when necessary
