Hello! My name is Rachel and I hail from the beautiful Red Deer region. I am a compassionate, well-educated caregiver with over 8 years of professional experience, and I hold a Bachelor's Degree along with a Caregiver / Companion certificate. I am trained in providing first aid, CPR, and home support, which makes me a reliable hand in times of need. Over the years, I have developed a robust skill set and have worked with patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Cancer, Stroke, and more. Assisting them with their everyday needs like Bed Pan, Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, etc., and providing specialized care such as Alzheimer/Dementia Care, range of motion exercises, or help with walking, has been at the core of what I do. Not limited to this, I have also been responsible for taking care of household tasks including but not limited to Housekeeping, Laundry, Cleaning Bathrooms, Vacuuming, Dishwashing and also escorting individuals to appointments and planning visits. Understanding that each individual is unique in their needs, I am open to working with children with disabilities and am confident in providing them with the required attention and care. I am seeking a part-time role as a Caregiver / Companion, ideally in Home Health Care, Retirement Homes, or Clinic / Hospital setups.
