Hello, my name is Foroogh , a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with over 3 years of experience in providing caring support to individuals with disabilities and the senior population. I am 34 years old and live in Port Moody. My journey in healthcare started with the completion of my Healthcare Assistant from Success, which further led me to dedicate 60 hours as a volunteer at the Dufferin Care Center. Here, I was fortunate to assist our senior citizens and found this experience incredibly fulfilling. My experience also includes working part-time as a caregiver to a boy with disabilities, assisting him in everyday activities and ensuring his comfort and well-being. I am adept at managing duties such as bathing assistance, meal preparation, housekeeping, heavy patient lifting and transfer, and providing range of motion exercises, to name a few. Additionally, I am experienced in working with a wide range of diagnoses such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, dementia, visual impairment, paralysis, hepatitis, and more. I am currently seeking a full-time Caregiver/Companion role. I'm capable of both live-in and live-out arrangements and am available for work throughout the week. As an alumnus of the Caregiver/Companion program, I hold a first aid certificate, CPR certificate, Home Support Worker, Health Care Aide Certificate, and a Bachelor's degree.
