I am Jannat, a dedicated and compassionate individual looking to start my caregiving journey. My core objective is to provide my best assistance to those in need of healthcare, specifically as a Caregiver/Companion. I am committed to starting from 8th January 2024 and am keen to work full-time through the weekdays, devoting my morning hours to ensure a high standard of care. Born and raised in Bangladesh, I am fluent in Bangala and English, and with my college education and CPR certification, I am adept at providing essential care to patients. I am comfortable in both home healthcare and clinic/hospital settings where I can foster an environment of safety, care, and comfort. I am more than capable of performing various duties such as heavy patient lifting & transfer, toileting assistance, housekeeping, laundry, meal planning/preparation, and errands. I am also skilled with Hoyer Lifts and can provide specialized care such as Tube Feeding, Catheter/ Colostomy Care, and Palliative Care. Patient welfare has always been my utmost priority, which is why I am willing to go the extra mile. Being a non-smoker and a good swimmer proves advantageous in this regard. Also, as a mother, I understand family values and can extend my services for companionship. Assisting with pet care, walking, planning visits, outings, and trips to bond with neighbours, friends, and family are also part of my skill set. While currently situated in Scarborough, I am open to relocating and can travel according to the job requirements. Although I do not have a driver's license or vehicle presently, I am undeterred and committed to managing my responsibilities effectively. Looking forward to serving with dedication, empathy, and determination, it is my aim to deliver warmth and companionship along with the necessary healthcare needs to those I assist.
