My name is Cynthia and I am from Scarborough. I have been a caregiver for the past 15 years. My extensive caregiving experience covers a diverse range of illnesses, such as dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, cancer, diabetes, and strokes many more. This experience has strengthened my proficiency in areas like palliative care, dementia care also can assist with bathing, meal preparation, and running errands, to name a few. In addition to this, my caregiving qualifications include a First Aid Certificate and a police check. I have also completed seminars in nutrition, dementia, and dialysis. My capacity extends to light household duties, ensuring a clean and welcoming living environment. I am available from early morning to night, Monday to Thursday, as well as Sunday and Tuesday evenings. Please note, however, that I am looking for a live-out arrangement in a full-time capacity, yet I am willing to consider a live-in scenario if necessary. I am currently available for immediate employment in home health care and retirement homes. As a non-smoker with my own vehicle and a valid driver's license, I can provide close accompaniment to my patients during appointments and family visits, ensuring they maintain strong social connections. I find immense satisfaction in knowing that I not only cater to the physical needs of my patrons, but also their emotional needs, thereby making a significant difference during their most significant moments of need. I have many wonderful references upon request.

With over 15 years of experience in senior care, I am dedicated to providing compassionate support to those in need. My availability spans across multiple days and hours, including mornings, evenings, and even overnight shifts. I hold certifications in Caregiver / Companion, Home Support Worker, First Aid, and CPR, ensuring the highest level of care for my clients. I am well-versed in a wide range of duties, from housekeeping to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's care, and have worked with patients dealing with various diagnoses such as dementia, cancer, and diabetes. As a Canadian citizen with a clean police check, I am ready to start immediately and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those I care for.

I worked from October 15 2021 to February 17 2024 Glenn suffered from dementia , daily routines would be walks outside after getting him up in the morning and having his breakfast going to the washroom getting him dressed and doing some activities. Made all his meals accompany him to all appointments with his wife Kathy ,As the year went on he struggled a little bit more with walking and being unsteady so he would need more help , he has vascular dementia which means we had to encourage drinking a lot during the day , I Also did three nights a week with him as well as the five days care. During this last year and his last weeks i stayed around the clock when Glenn got sick and suffered from bacterial pneumonia And Covid and could not fight it off and unfortunately sad day came and he passed . It was truly my honour to take care of such wonderful man

I worked with Rita’s dad who had Parkinson For approximately two years in which time I could go in the morning and get him out of bed and get him ready to start his day . he would then go to the washroom and clean up and go to his chair where he would have breakfast and we would do our daily exercising and then he would have a little nap. After nap we have lunch. Then we would go to the bathroom before I would leave for the day. I would also come back at night To get them ready for bed take to the washroom change and put sleep apnoea machine on before putting him in bed for the night
