Hello! My name is Aarju, and I am from Nepal. I hold a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy, which I completed in India. My professional journey has been diverse, starting with roles in hospitals and as a home care physiotherapist. During this time, I worked extensively with various medical conditions, including COVID cases, road traffic accidents (RTA), strokes, paraplegia, quadriplegia, and Parkinson's disease. My experience in these challenging environments has equipped me with valuable skills in patient care, rehabilitation, and support. Upon moving to Canada, I transitioned into the role of a Home Support Worker, where I dedicated myself to assisting elderly individuals in their homes, retirement residences, and respite care settings. In this capacity, I provided a wide range of services to support their daily lives. This included assisting with activities of daily living (ADL), such as meal preparation, personal hygiene (including pericare, bathing, and grooming), and mobility support. I also helped with household tasks like vacuuming and offered medication reminders to ensure their well-being.

I used to work as a HSW in Paramed Home health care. So, I have learned a lot through my work.
