"Hello, my name is Rosy Liz and I am a dedicated caregiver with over a year of experience in caring for the elderly. I hail from the Philippines and am presently based in Penticton, but I am willing to relocate for the right opportunity. I have an extensive background in caring for patients who are bedridden and specifically have experience with patients suffering from Stroke, Hospice, Incontinence and who have undergone cataract removal.
One of my most rewarding experiences was being the primary caregiver to my grandmother when she was in hospice care. I provided her with comprehensive assistance, including diaper changes, bathing, meal preparation, and emotional support. This inspired me to formally train as a caregiver, after which I assisted a patient with a spinal compression fracture.
I am committed to facilitating the highest level of comfort for those in my care and am adept in assisting with all types of daily activities. These services included Housekeeping, Grocery Shopping, Meal Planning, running errands, assisting with Pet Care and Walking, Vacuuming, Hand Washing Dishes, and accompanying to appointments.
My availability is very flexible, being open for work from morning to night every weekday from Monday to Friday. Ideally, I am looking for a full-time, live-in position where I can make a significant impact in my client's life.
Although I do not possess a driver's license, I am fully capable of planning visits, outings, and trips for my clients within their community, aiming to increase social interactions with neighbours, friends, and family.
Despite being a non-smoker, I am comfortable working in diverse environments and am highly proficient in communicating in both English and Korean. In addition to my certification as a Caregiver / Companion, I also hold a Bachelor's Degree and a CPR certificate.
As part of my commitment to ensuring safe and secure care, I am willing to obtain a police check as required. Above all, I am a compassionate, patient, and understanding caregiver, always ready to offer high-quality personalized care to those in need."
