My name is Nkoloagu, a 22-year-old healthcare professional iwith a loving soul for the elderly and less fortunate. Originally from Nigeria, my passion for providing care for the sick, combined with my enjoyment of reading and interaction with children, inspired me to pursue a career as a Home Support Worker.
Armed with 2 years of rich work experience, I have collaborated with patients diagnosed with Speech Impairment, Dialysis, Pneumonia, Dementia, Cancer, Stroke, Diabetes, Osteoporosis, Paralysis, Amputee, Arthritis, Hepatitis, and Malnutrition. These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the home health care environment and have honed my caregiving skills, allowing me to effectively provide assistance with bathing, toileting, housekeeping, laundry, and walking, among other tasks.
In addition, I am capable of performing more specific duties such as assisting with palliative care, supervising home environments, patient positioning, and lifts and transfers. I am also able to escort patients to their appointments and have even offered assistance for patients diagnosed with special needs.
Despite not having a driver's license and a vehicle, I am willing to relocate and travel to reach my patients. My availability is flexible, covering mornings, middays, evenings, and nights, Wednesday through Tuesday, allowing for both full-time and part-time employment.
Presently, I am looking for a new opportunity to work with a family or institution, either in a live-in or live-out setting. I am actively seeking a role as a Caregiver / Companion or Personal Support Worker in Retirement Homes or Home Health Care settings.
I am a non-smoker, fluent in English, and eager to start by the 13th of January, 2024. Please note that I am currently in the process of obtaining a police check for safety assurance.
Worked in a home care for 2 years and have passion for working
