Grace of the Lord be with you. I’m Maria Erzel. I came from the Philippines and now living here in Montreal, Canada. I’m the youngest among 10 siblings. I grew up in a big family and also with my grandparents. That’s why I’m I love taking care of elderly people and my grandmother died at the aged 0f 93 until her last breath I’m with her. On the same time my Mother got sick and she was paralyzed for a year and I took care of my Mom until she recovered and able to walk again. Year November 2009 at the aged of 23, I went to Hong Kong to work as Nanny, I took care 2 kids ages 4 and 6 years old and also elderly woman she’s cancer survivor. I helped the kids for their needs like bathing, feeding, helping their homework, bring and pick them from house to school, provide them child-friendly environment with engaging activities and continues access to the outdoors, and put them to bed. While, the elderly woman, I accompanied her walking, doing exercise, helping her needs, keep reminding her to take her medicine, and massaging. And also I did all the household chores, car washing, and marketing. Year March 2014, I went here in Canada and work as a Live-in Caregiver, taking care of 4 kids ages 14, 11, 8 and 11 months old baby. I did all the household chores like cleaning, vacuuming, light cooking, ironing, laundry, mopping, especially taking care of 11 months baby and provide his needs while his parents are away. I’m almost 7 years as a Live-in caregiver. I’m a positive kind of person, family oriented. I love taking care of elderly, because I believe at their age they need love, understanding, patience, and unconditional love. For me, taking care of elderly people is not only a job, but it is passion, and put your heart towards them. I worked in Hong Kong as a Nanny part of my Job is to take care the elderly woman she's a cancer patient. I remind her to take her medication on time, walking, do exercise, and massaging. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: REFERENCES:
