Hello! I am Rizza, a seasoned health care worker residing in Markham. Originally from the Philippines, I moved to Canada to start a career and a family. I am a caring wife and mother to three wonderful girls. Culture is important to me, I enjoy partaking in activities such as singing, dancing, and reading food magazines showcasing traditional Filipino recipes. My passion extends to the outdoors where I love activities like walking, biking, ice skating and sledding, especially when shared with my children. I possess five years of experience in the healthcare field, with a particular interest in home health care. Currently, I am seeking a part-time live-out caregiver or personal support worker role. I have a flexible schedule, available from Monday to Friday during daytime hours. I am particularly skilled in a range of duties, from basic care such as bed pan and bathing assistance, meal planning and preparation, to more specialized care including Alzheimer and Dementia care, lifting and transfers, and patient positioning. I have 3 yrs experience taking care of elderly with Alzeimer in Hongkong. Also 2yrs as a PSW/Caregiver here in Canada through Homewatch Caregiver Agency. I work in home care setting, and retirement home on one-on-one client, who has Alzeimer, Dementia or elders who can't take care of themselves. I have more than 20 years experience in child care giving, from newborn, toddler and school age children, including mine.
