I am a registered care aide of BC Care Aide. I gained valuable practical experience at Windermere Care Center under Vancouver Coastal Health and privately caring for clients in home care setting with diverse health conditions, including Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis client (who is quadriplegic, zero independent breathing, attached to a ventilator needing tracheostomy care and PEG care, communication through eye gazing using letter board), Multiple Sclerosis client (who uses TENS machine), Dementia and Dialysis client (very aggressive sundowning episodes). My compassionate approach and attention to individual needs ensure their well-being and dignity. I am also a registered nurse in the Philippines with over 6 years of ICU experience. My extensive nursing background encompasses critical care, surgical, and cardiac nursing, aligning with the responsibilities of a Healthcare Aide. I excel in direct care, symptom monitoring, maintain records, coordinating with healthcare teams, always ensuring safety protocols and following principles of DIPPS.
